Kimberly graduated from the University of Calgary in 2008, with a Bachelor of Natural Sciences, with concentrations in Chemistry and Biology. She then completed her Masters degree in Physical Therapy in 2018 from the University of Alberta.
Having an interest in the outdoors, Kimberly is an avid adventurer who enjoys journeying through the wilderness to explore Alberta’s backcountry. Whether it be spending the day hiking through the greater Kananaskis area, traversing through mountain passes, or staying overnight to camp, Kimberly enjoys taking in the sights and sounds of nature to unwind and recharge. Kimberly has an immense passion for both physical activity and mental wellness and being, believing that both are key hallmarks to promoting health, growth, and recovery.
Kimberly’s treatments focus on combining manual therapy techniques and functional dry needling with exercises geared towards addressing both local and global bodily dysfunctions. Kimberly strives to develop strong interpersonal connections with her clients by discussing and incorporating client’s interests, sports, and goals, to develop personalized treatment plans catered to their needs.
Kimberly currently practices Level 1 and 2 Functional Dry Needling and has completed her Level 2 upper and lower extremity orthopaedic manual therapy, her Level 1 and 2 in concussion management from Shannon McGuire, and Physical Therapy Management of Craniofacial Pain & TMJ Dysfunction from Jonathan Reimer and Nadine Fennig
